Privacy Notice

By UK Celtic Jewellery ·

1. Who we are

UK Celtic Jewellery runs this website and decides how we use your data. That makes us the data controller. To reach us about privacy, use the contact form.

2. What we collect

When you send us a message, we collect your name, email address, the subject you choose and your message. When the shop opens, we will also collect the details needed to deliver an order, such as your postal address.

3. How we use it

We use your details to answer your message and, once the shop opens, to process and deliver your order, because we cannot do either without them. We only send marketing email if you have asked for it. We also use anonymous visit counts to see which pages help people.

4. Who sees it

We do not sell your data, and we never will. Your message passes through our email and lead systems so that we can reply. When the shop opens, delivery firms and payment providers will receive only what they need to do their job.

5. How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to help you. After that we delete them, since there is no reason to hold on to them. Order records will be kept for 7 years because UK tax law requires it.

6. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see your data, correct it, delete it or limit how we use it. You can also object to its use. Send us a message and we will reply within one month, as the law requires.

7. Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 in a privacy mode. Storage for analytics is off by default, so it does not set analytics cookies on your device. Once the shop opens, your basket will sit in your browser storage, and it never leaves your device until you check out.

8. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we use your data, please tell us first, because we would like the chance to put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
